Confusion ¬ Computers and Internet
Computers baffle enough people without ¿dave project? intervention, but I thought it only fair that the ¿dave project? does venture into this feild for reasons of equality. And to be honest, the internet is such a great way to confuse people, and spread the word about Obscurity at the same time :)
Confusionisms
¿> Who is this? [1234]
First using AIM, MSN, or AOL make an account/email and tell no one about it. Then find a friend who is online on your normal account. Go onto your account that no one knows about and and add your friend to your contacts. Begin to speak to them as if they were someone else. I got this idea when I read the "Dave...?" Confusionism so, use the name Dave if it is a boy and Beth if it is a girl.
Practical Jokes
¿> Keyboard switch [1234]
In a computer lab with computers facing away from each other, switch over the mouse and keyboard connectors so that each keyboard is controlling the keyboard opposite.
¿> Safe and sound? [1234]
Helping a computer illeterate friend set up their computer, place pre-recorded sound effects of banging and screeching noises as the windows sound effects. Act as if it is the computer really making these noises. Watch your marks expessions when they worry that their computer is seriously in trouble.
¿> Mouse balls [12]
At the PC lab at school, unscrew the bottom of the mouse and take out the ball!
