What you do:
This can get complicated if you let it so I'll try to keep it simple. Get around 6 mates and go into your nearest town (town must have at least 6 pubs, and you must not be too well known in the town). Each start in the same pub and nominate the order of pubs you all have to follow. Give each person a number (1-6). Number 1 goes to the next pub. Around 10 minutes later, number 2 heads out to the next pub, where upon seeing number 1, they must not speak (a grunt is allowed). Number 1 has to down their pint, allow number 2 his bar stool/place and then move onto the 3rd pub. This happens until you get a chain going around the town. The loser is the one that breaks the chain.
Authors Comment:
As a group, you should all come up with a phrase that has to be said to a barmaid at each pub, something like "oooh, you've got lovely ears" or "can I have a bag of Badger flavoured crisps". A subtle, but noticeable peice of clothing can also be passed upon exchange of bar positions, e.g. an eye patch.
