I intend to use these articles to pose questions which have baffled are best minds here at obscurity. Not the question of course, (I know who Dave is!) but various questions which we hope you out in cyber space will be able to answer for us.
This week: Bungle from Rainbow.
Rainbow was an all time classic childrens entertainment programme (See the repeats on UK Gold childrens plus, a free channel when you pay a fortune to sky digital!)But several questions still puzzle me.
First of all.Why did Bungle wonder around all day long naked and then put clothes on to go to bed? Surely there is some logical reason? I personally only wonder around naked in the morning, Never all day!
Secondly was George Dale Winton in disguise? The voice itself is the major give away! Dale struggled during his early career and perhaps he saw Geoffrey as some sort of role model.
Thirdly, on the subject of Geoffrey, why set up home with a collection of fake animals? surely if he had that sort of money he would have invested it in an isa from jonathan Davies down at the abby national society (its definately a perm).
And Finally Zippy. Surely using Velcro would have been a cheaper alternative to a Zip.
Should anyone know the answers to any of these questions then let me know. Hopefully tim will provide me with an address and feel free to write me any letters or questions that baffle you.
Next week: Taxi drivers: Are they trained or are they in bred?
